Solana Price Prediction: Top Analyst Sees SOL Soaring To $140 As This Green ICO Surges Past $700K
The Solana price has plunged 6.5% in the last 24 hours to trade at $98.15 as of 5:29 a.m. EST on trading volume that dropped 15% to $2.6 billion.
This decline comes as popular crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe predicts SOL soaring to $140.
Poppe said on X that Solana’s consolidation period appears to have ended after SOL bounced from its recent low of around $79.

The Solana Price: Bulls Break Above The Bullish Pennant
The Solana price has been rising gradually on an upward trend after a prolonged period of consolidation that gave the bulls a platform to send the prices high, surging above the bullish pennant, which signifies a bullish trend continuation for the Solana price.
The bulls have found an anchor support level at $85.78 within the pennant, pushing the price above the 50 and 200 simple moving averages (SMA), with the 200 SMA acting as immediate support for the SOL price.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicates a downtrend from 76 to the 50 midline level. If the price rebounds at this level, it would signal a buy trend pushing the RSI to overbought region 70.

The bulls have taken advantage of the bullish pennant to regroup for a bull rally to recuperate their losses and propel prices towards projected highs in 2024, targeting around the $125 mark.
However, if the bears sustain their correction, the price could fall to the $94 threshold.
