The crypto currency market witnessed recovery over the weekend. Even though most assets started July 2024 on a bad note, they might be trying to end it on a rather good one. Amidst this volatility, a prominent crypto currency analyst Sheldon The Sniper urged the market to purchase three specific crypto currencies before it is too late. He even said that given his belief that the bottom is almost in, now may be a good moment to start purchasing these tokens. crypto currencies-to-buy-this-altcoin-season">Cryptocurrencies To Buy This Altcoin Season Dogecoin [DOGE] – Elon Musk’s favorite crypto currency recorded a major dip throughout the month. Did Jump Crypto cause Solana stablecoin volume to collapse?

This week, a chart circulated that appeared to show stablecoin volume on the Solana blockchain declining over 90% since a series of bad events at Jump Crypto, one of Solana’s biggest trading shops.  However, whether or not Jump decreased its Solana trading activity, the claim that stablecoin volume is down 90% falls apart quickly on semantics alone. Before addressing that issue, here’s a quick summary of recent events at Solana and Jump Crypto: The CFTC launched an investigation into Jump Crypto, one of Solana’s biggest traders. The leader of Jump Crypto, Kanav Kariya, suddenly left the company. Pump.fun, a Solana meme coin generator, has gone viral, platforming countless celebrity rug-pulls. Solana announced two new types of on-chain transactions, ‘Blinks’ and ‘Actions.’ Both are non-financial codes that allow people to transact on Solana’s blockchains directly from websites and social platforms by clicking simple buttons like ‘Share’ o...

After Ethereum ETF, Dogecoin; Solana; And XRP Next In Line?

Following the upcoming approval of spot Ethereum ETFs, many experts predict that Dogecoin , Solana , and XRP are next in line. Three of the biggest cryptocurrencies on the market in terms of popularity, DOGE; SOL; and XRP would benefit greatly from being available to trade on the stock market. Recently, Ripple Labs’ president and CEO both made their case for a Ripple XRP ETF, with the CEO saying that multiple other coins are inevitably going to get their ETFs too. “People don’t want just exposure to one commodity,” Garlinghouse said in an interview with Fox Business . He added that it “only makes sense” to add more commodities to the market to give investors more options to trade. Therefore, XRP could be a new competitor to ETH and BTC ETFs on the market, as well as Solana and DOGE. If the SEC works its way through the top cryptocurrencies by market cap, BNB would be the logical contender. However, there is a growing likelihood that XRP, DOGE, and SOL will be favored more...

$10M accidentally burned as Solana memecoin craze continues

With Solana ’s memecoin mania seemingly reaching fever pitch, multiple token presales have been announced over the past few days with varied results. One such project, SLERF, raised $10M on Solana before disaster struck at launch. According to the project’s developer, while attempting to burn SLERF’s LP tokens (which would ensure liquidity for trading the token) they also accidentally burned the tokens allocated to presale investors. Guys I fucked up. I burned the LP and the tokens that were set aside for the airdrop. Mint authority is already revoked so I can not mint them. There is nothing I can do to fix this. I am so fucking sorry. — Slerf (@Slerfsol) March 18, 2024 With the minting functionality already disabled, there was little to be done for those who had invested before launch. However, the error seemed to draw plenty of attention and, with no presale holders to dump on them, memecoin-hungry traders aped in. Dev: Shows complete incompetence by burning $10M USD ...

Bitcoin is struggling to sustain above $38,000, but the bulls have not given up much ground, which some analysts say increases the chance of a rally to $40,000. Bitcoin (BTC) is trying to sustain above the overhead resistance of $38,000 for the second consecutive day and start the next leg of the uptrend. The excitement among market observers may have increased after the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) delayed its decision on the applications of Franklin Templeton and Hashdex exchange-traded funds. Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart speculated in a X (formerly Twitter) post that the SEC may have taken this step “to line every applicant up for potential approval by the Jan. 10, 2024 deadline.” While many analysts believe that the ETF listing will be a watershed moment for Bitcoin, Genesis Trading head of derivatives Joshua Lim cautioned in a X post that traditional finance investors have already bought the rumor and may exit the trade close to the ETF announcem...

Solana up 38% in a week, but it could soon crash

Image
The price of Solana’s (SOL) token has surged over the past week, rising nearly 35% to hit a price of $42.41. This latest rally brings Solana’s gains to over 322% year-to-date. According to a Nov. 2 Analysis by Altcoin Daily, surge in Solana’s price can be attributed to various developments and factors. The ongoing Solana Breakpoint conference in Amsterdam is generating a buzz, bringing together influential figures from the Solana community and generating excitement about its future prospects. On another front, the bullish report from investment management firm VanEck suggests that Solana could potentially outpace Ethereum (ETH) by the end of the decade, further cementing its reputation as a top-tier smart contract platform. Despite the fallout from the FTX exchange collapse and the legal issues surrounding its founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, investor confidence in Solana’s independence seems to be on the rise. Are Cardano NFTs Faring Better than Ethereum, Solana, Polygon?

Image
Back in September 2021, the Alonzo upgrade opened the doors for smart contracts on Cardano . At that time, the community was quite excited about NFTs being introduced on the platform. During the initial days, people did try to test out the roll-out. However, it failed to gain much traction, as users were still reliant on other blockchains like Ethereum, Solana , and Polygon to trade their jpeg collectibles. Nevertheless, Cardano currently stands in a much better position. Even though the aforementioned networks retain the top positions along with ImmutableX and BNB Chain, Cardano has been able to manage to rise above Arbitrum, Flow, Ronin, Avalanche, Fantom, Algorand, Cronos, and Tezos by settling more volume via sales in the past 30 days. While the gap between Ethereum, Solana , and Polygon’s numbers seemed to be quite wide for Cardano at press time, it was merely a couple of million off of BNB Chain’s figure. The same is tabulated below. Source: CryptoSlam Also Read: Eth...

The crypto market corrected on news of the CFTC suing Binance and its CEO Changpeng Zhao, but technical charts reveal a silver lining. The news and events related to the banking crisis in the United States and Europe have led to a rotation of funds into investments considered less risky. According to the Financial Times, the U.S. money market funds in March witnessed an inflow of $286 billion.  Along with money market funds, a portion of the money may also have seeped into the crypto industry. The increased demand could be one of the reasons for Bitcoin’s (BTC) strong performance in March. The big question in crypto investors’ minds is whether the recovery will continue or if it is time to book profits in Bitcoin. Daily cryptocurrency market performance.
